Field Studies Joins Heritage Festivals

Since 1991, Field Studies has provided select choirs, bands, and orchestras with the phenomenal opportunity to perform in world-renowned Carnegie Hall. In 2008, Field Studies joined forces with Heritage Festivals as a division of WorldStrides. As the headlining event of Heritage Festivals’ Elite Performance Series, Festival at Carnegie Hall remains one of the premier music festivals in the world while being enhanced by Heritage Festivals’ accredited status and additional 30 years of experience.

As an accredited travel study school, Heritage Festivals is proud to be the only festival organization to offer participants the opportunity to earn a one-semester, high school performing arts academic credit. In addition, Heritage Festivals offers music educators free professional development points and the opportunity to earn graduate credit. The educational value offered by Heritage Festivals and the Elite Performance Series is unmatched by any other festival provider.

Festival at Carnegie Hall is one of the premier music festivals in the world. The illustrious history of this great hall demands only the finest performers. In keeping with this standard, ensembles chosen to participate in the Festival at Carnegie Hall must undergo a special audition process.

Festival at Carnegie Hall offers two exceptional options: the National Band & Orchestra Festival and the National Choir Festival. Each festival is specially designed to demonstrate and celebrate the musical talent of the ensembles in attendance. This amazing experience begins with a dynamic introduction to New York City and culminates with an extraordinary performance at Carnegie Hall.
